Totem Publications has been mapping Western Washington Counties for over forty years.
A.W. (Bill) Tanner and his wife, France Tanner, began making Totem maps in the 1960s. Together they built the company, which has produced over one hundred road maps, some in the form of folding pocket maps and others in handy wire-bound atlas form. Some of those maps are still available. Others, having served their purpose, have been discontinued. Bill Tanner continued mapping Western Washington counties after his wife’s death in 1992. After his death in December 2003, his cousin, Elizabeth Severson, continued the business.

The popular Atlas of Island, Skagit, Whatcom and San Juan Counties has been in production since 1973. The tenth edition, Atlas of Northwest Washington: Island, Skagit, Whatcom, San Juan counties, plus the City of Stanwood and Vicinity, has been expanded as well as revised, reorganized and updated. Our folded maps include the popular Map of Camano Island, Greater Stanwood and City of Stanwood and our Map of Gig Harbor and the Key Peninsula. We also carry maps of the Northwest by other publishers.
